What is NutriFusion Balanced Lawn Food?
Nutrifusion is an easy to use granular soil and plant food which provides a balanced diet for all every type of lawn, whatever age it may be and whatever the soil type. Not only does it feed the grass plants themselves but it cares for the microscopic soil dwelling creatures that help to keep our planet healthy.
There are three kinds of Nutrifusion:
Pre-Turfing Fertiliser : To help your Q Lawns turf to put down roots, establish speedily and grow on to become a strong, healthy lawn
Spring and Summer Lawn Feed :For use on established lawns, Nutrifusion Spring and Summer Lawn Feed contains all the nutrients your lawn needs while the roots and leaves are growing fast. Applying Nutrifusion Spring and Summer Lawn Feed every 6-8 weeks during the growing season as part of your lawncare programme, will help your lawn recover from the wear and tear of everyday use, resist drought and disease, and generally be something to be proud of.
Autumn and Winter Feed: Low in Nitrogen but high in phosphates, Nutrifusion Autumn and Winter Feed helps the plants to build the strong and healthy roots which will encourage healthy growth through the spring and summer.

Nutrifusion contains Organic Carbon - What is ‘Organic Carbon’?
You can’t see them, but Carbon molecules are everywhere. They can be found in some rocks, such as limestone and are an important part of everything that is, or ever has been alive. In fact carbon molecules make up around 20% by weight of the human body. The Organic Carbon used to create NutriFusion Lawn Feed, comes from ancient life forms that have long since died, decayed, and been returned to the earth
My Usual Lawn Feed contains mainly Phosphorus, Potassium and Nitrogen (P,K,N) Why does NutriFusion contain Organic Carbon as well?
Carbon molecules are an important part of the energy foods – carbohydrates. Carbon gives energy to the microscopic creatures that live in the soil and a healthy population of beneficial microbes soil results in strong, healthy plants.
Is NutriFusion Eco-Friendly?
Most Definitely! When applied correctly, NutriFusion will actually reduce the amount of soil nutrients that the rain can wash away into rivers and streams, (this is called leaching and can eventually kill freshwater fishes).
Does NutriFusion have any health warnings ?
Just like any other product for the garden, NutriFusion should be kept away from Children and Animals and stored in a labeled container. Always wash your hands after use and wear gloves when handling it.
Does NutriFusion Contain any Harmful Chemicals?
No it doesn’t, and if it is correctly stored, applied carefully and used for what it was intended – a garden fertiliser – it is perfectly harmless.
Does Nutrifusion Contain Growth Hormones Or Other Unwanted Organic Compounds ?
There are certainly no “nasties” in NutriFusion. The only plant hormones in NutriFusion are naturally occurring and will help your lawn to stay strong and healthy – there’s no danger of them producing Triffids or changing the plant’s normal functions in any way shape or form, neither will they affect you, your children or your pets.
Will NutriFusion Scorch my Lawn?
No, not unless you use too much at once. Never exceed the recommended application rate. Plants don’t need huge amounts of fertilizer and they only use what they need. Applying too much will not only risk damaging your lawn – it will waste your money!
Will NutriFusion Harm Wildlife?
Quite the opposite. NutriFusion encourages beneficial the micro and mini-organisms in the soil that in turn feed other animals higher up the food chain.
Can I Use NutriFusion on Other Plants?
Different plants need different balances of plant nutrients, depending on where in the world they first developed and what you want the plant to do for you. For example, sedum plants are adapted to living on really thin soils where there are hardly any nutrients – they don’t need much fertilser at all. Tomato plants like lots of food, but too a high nitrogen fertilizer will mean you get loads of leaves and no fruit. NutriFusion has been specially formulated for lawns, it’s unlikely to damage other plants but it might not bring you the results you were hoping for.
How Does NutriFusion Compare to Organic Chicken Manure?
NutriFusion contains nothing at all that has been derived from animals so there’s no risk of it bringing in any pests or diseases. Chicken Manure can contain quite a high level of ammonia that can unleash some very unpleasant gases that not only smell nasty but that can irritate eyes and airways. Usually, with Chicken Manure you are buying quite a high percentage of sawdust.
How Do I Apply It?
NutriFusion is a granular fertiliser that can comes ready to apply, there’s no need to dilute it with water or add any other ingredients. Simply spread it evenly across your lawn, preferably using one of the special fertilizer applicators available from most garden centres.
