This lists the types of grasses most commonly used by the turf industry.

Q Lawns turf contains species for most applications. Be careful, there are only a few grasses that will tolerate shade.

TGA covers, purity, weight, strength, sward, thatch & soil, and the nominal size of each piece of turf.

Size matters, there are different sizes of turf on the market which can confuse the buyer, ensure you get a spec or quote for the area to be turfed and not each piece of turf.
