Racy Little Number for Q Lawns Big Roll

The hospitality area at the world famous Silverstone motor circuit has been re-turfed using Q Lawns turf in Big Roll format.

An area of six hundred square metres of turf was laid in less than a day using a small team of landscapers and a custom built laying trolley on loan from Q Lawns. 

“One Big Roll of Q Lawns turf is equivalent to twenty standard rolls, so although they don’t fit in a wheelbarrow quite so easily as the 1m2 rolls, if you have plenty of space and the right equipment for moving them around, they really do save a lot of time” says David Fisher of Q Lawns in the Midlands who organised the supply and delivery of the turf. “The contractor was absolutely delighted with how easy it was to use the laying trolley – he’d watched a video clip on you tube showing how to lift, move and install the big rolls and found that the whole process was almost effortless compared to covering such a large area with the standard rolls”
