Q Lawns at BBC Gardeners World Live 2008
Q Lawns in the Midlands supplied a number of award winning show gardens with landscaping products at this years Gardeners World Live Show.
Gold medal and Best in Show award went to Toby Buckland's ethical garden. Toby's garden was built from recycled materials and featured Enviromat sedum matting as part of the planting on the roof of his greenhouse. Toby also showcased Enviromat during his presentations in the main BBC theatre by demonstrating how to put a simple living roof on to a bird table.
Joe Swift designed the BBC Allotment. Q Lawn topsoil was used to fill the raised beds and Q Lawn woodchip created practical and eco-friendly paths between the beds.
Pru Kahn from Norfolk used Q Lawn grade turf for the pathway in her "Go Native" garden which also featured a wildflower meadow and a locally built thatched pergoda.
Finally, Enviromat provided the crowning glory to the sleek modern lines of the Garden Studio built by David Pedley of Craven Woodcraft.
